Businessweek Says More Good News For The Denver Real Estate Market
"Denver is 'most improved' U.S. housing market"
Bloomberg Businessweek has rated the Top 50 metro areas for real estate growth in 1Q 2010. Denver, CO tops the list.
According to Bloomberg Businessweek, Denver, Colorado’s real estate market has improved the most in the first quarter of 2010 compared to 2009. The primary reason, of course, was the federal government’s $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers. The article also cites an influx of renewable energy jobs coming our way.
“In fact, about one in 25 employers in the Denver-Aurora-Broomfield area plans to add jobs in the second quarter, according to the most recent Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.”
An independent research firm from Littleton, CO says that home prices are expected to increase by 5% this year.
